How it works
- Bring what you already use. Upload one or more spreadsheets (.xlsx, .xlsm or .csv, up to 25 MB each) and add a sentence about what you do with them. No tidying up first.
- Lydessa AI reads, then asks. It works out the lists, fields, connections and the rules written between the lines. Anything unclear becomes a question, not an assumption.
- It shows you what it understood. A summary in plain words and a preview with your own data. Nothing is built until you agree.
- You publish. Your records move across and the application goes live at its own address (for example yourcompany.lydessa.com), with sign-in, roles and permissions.
- You keep evolving it. Describe a change in one sentence — “add a phone field to Customers and show it in the list” — and Lydessa AI prepares it. It is checked before it goes live.
Lydessa AI asks instead of assuming — and says no instead of guessing
- It asks. When a decision is yours, Lydessa AI asks one clear question instead of guessing.
- It checks every change. Lydessa AI does not write code into your application. It works with a fixed set of building blocks that Lydessa tests and runs the same way for every customer, and every change is checked before it goes live.
- It is honest about limits. If a request cannot be done safely, or would make the application slow, Lydessa AI says so and explains why — it does not quietly apply something “close enough”.
- It can offer options. In creative mode it proposes two or three alternatives that have already passed every check; you choose the one to apply.

Do I have to tidy the file up first?
No. Merged headings, notes in the margin, six spellings of the same status — that is what the reading step is for. Where the decision is genuinely yours, Lydessa AI asks you.
What happens to the data already in there?
Your records move into the application when you publish, and you see a list of anything that could not be carried across. Your original file is never touched.
Can I change it after publishing?
Yes. Describe the change in your own words; Lydessa AI applies it and your existing records stay exactly as they are.
What if Lydessa AI misunderstands something?
Before anything is published you read what it understood and try it in the preview. Nothing is built until you say so.
What if I ask for something it cannot do?
It tells you. Every change is checked before it goes live; if a request cannot be done safely, or would slow your application down, Lydessa AI says so and explains why instead of quietly applying something close.
